The Post 115 Executive Board met April 30, 2020. Important agenda items:
- · Elections and appointments of post officers.
- · Boys State, JROTC
- · Resumption of programs and meetings-refunds
Elections and Appointments
Both The American Legion and the Department of Florida passed resolutions to cancel conventions and leave officers in place until 2021. The Executive Board of Post 115 unanimously elected to follow suit until such time as elections can be held in accordance with the Department of Florida Constitution and Bylaws.
Finance Office Hank Mangels submitted his resignation prior to the meeting for personal reasons. Sandy Ausbrooks, past chaplain, has been appointed by Commander Hammond and unanimously approved to assume the duties as finance officer.
Eric Febles Flores has stepped down as service officer and Past Service Officer Sal Rutigliano was appointed to replace him

The position of Fundraising Chair remains open. Interested volunteers should contact Dave Hammond at 386-313-1433.
Boys State & JROTC
Boys State and Boys Nation have both been canceled. A motion to award each delegate a $250 scholarship in lieu of attendance to Boys State. The annual $250 scholarships for military and scholastic excellence will be awarded as usual at a time and place designated by the schools.
Meetings & Programs
The Executive Board will wait for direction provided by the governor, Flagler County, and Palm Coast before deciding on dates for resuming meetings and activities. Money received for advance reservations for the canceled Annual Spaghetti Event will be applied to the re-scheduled event or refunded by request. For a refund, contact Gary Owens at 386-585-5302.
